Michael’s Mashup: The Brain – An Owner’s Manual

17:45 – 18:45 CURIOSITY STAGE BY AKADEMIE VĚD ČR

Brain Under Pressure! How Can You Strengthen Your Memory and Stay Mentally Fit Even in Your Seventies? Neurologist Aleš Stuchlík from the Institute of Physiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and DJ and producer NobodyListen will explore this topic in Michael’s Mashup. Expect both serious topics and lighter segments, so you will hopefully learn something new and have some fun along the way.

Michael’s Mashup. A talk show with a twist! Two guests. One moderator. And their interaction. A mashup is a genre of its own. Guests as you’ve never seen them before. A meeting of two worlds. A mashup of guests, genres, performers and audience, all in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

At Meltingpot, we’ll be creating a mashup of science and art! In collaboration with the Czech Academy of Sciences, each festival day will bring together scientists and artists for unique conversations and encounters.

Professor Aleš Stuchlík, a leading Czech neuroscientist and neurocoach, explains how to strengthen memory, stay mentally fit even in your seventies, and even become a better person. According to Aleš Stuchlík of the Institute of Physiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, however, neither mental exercise nor a healthy lifestyle can guarantee protection against Alzheimer’s disease.
