Journalist, moderator and creator of the talk show Michaelův Mashup. He spent two years hosting interviews for DVTV, following eight years at Czech Radio. One guest walked out of his live broadcast, while another famously glued himself to the studio desk during an interview.
Michael currently works as a freelance journalist. He hosts political interviews and video specials for Novinky.cz, presents Hovory on Czech Radio Plus, and collaborates with the Václav Havel Library. He also moderates and produces conferences, panel discussions and public debates across the Czech Republic. He is the author of book-length interviews with Jindřich Šídlo and Tomáš Sedláček.
He studied Political Science at Charles University’s Faculty of Social Sciences and spent a semester at Université Libre de Bruxelles. Alongside journalism, he is active in stand-up comedy and improvisational theatre.
