At the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, he lectures on media history, radio, and propaganda, and also teaches at Metropolitan University Prague. Together with historian Michal Stehlík, he co-founded the popular podcast Přepište dějiny.
Martin Groman is the author of books about journalist Stanislav Budín and, in 2023, published an extensive biography of politician and physician František Kriegel. He is also chairman of the Společnost Ferdinanda Peroutky and a member of the František Kriegel Award jury.
