Civilization and Technology

14:00 – 15:00 GAMECHANGERS STAGE

‘The problem of humanity is that we have palaeolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and godlike technology’ – EO Wilson

Thousands of years of human behaviour and responses to innovation represent the best dataset we have. So why don’t we make greater use of it when navigating the age of artificial intelligence?

Florian Marcus, András Kristof and other guests bring experience from research, technology, and public administration, yet arrive at the same conclusion: the most important questions surrounding AI, digital power, and institutional resilience are not technological problems. They are human ones.

Join curator Sara Polak and her guests for an open, interdisciplinary, and thought-provoking discussion that starts with how people actually behave and asks how technologies should be designed, governed, and constrained.

The panel will be held in English with Czech interpretation.
