BRUKULELE BAND

12:30 – 13:30 ČEZ FAMILY PARK

A group of young, enthusiastic musicians from Brušperk, Frýdek-Místek and Ostrava, founded in 2018 under the guidance of Radka Baracskai. This lively gang of children aged 7 to 12 will be performing at Colours of Ostrava for the third time.

Their repertoire features well-known Czech and English songs specially arranged for ukulele. BRUKULELE BAND is part of the Ukulele for Children’s Homes project and also performs with and for seniors, proving that music has the power to connect generations, bring people together in the moment, create a shared rhythm and put smiles on faces.

The line-up also includes a few more experienced musicians: multi-instrumentalist David Gadula, singer and harmonium player Martha Gadula Papafoti, and bassist Daniel Baracskai. Together, they create a unique atmosphere somewhere between a concert, a workshop and a joyful form of therapy. Come and hear the youngest performers in action – and you may discover that playing the ukulele really is as easy as it looks.
