In this lecture, we will explore what hydrogen actually is, its current applications, and its significance in conversations about the future of energy, transportation, and safety. We will look at the current state of hydrogen mobility: how far hydrogen cars can travel today, where they are refuelled, and why they have moved beyond science fiction. Safety takes centre stage in our discussion, as fears about hydrogen typically arise from misunderstanding rather than reality.
Through engaging, hands-on demonstrations, we will show that risk comes not from the element itself but from how we handle it – a principle we will extend to automotive applications.
To wrap up, we will take a close look at a hydrogen vehicle and the technology that has transitioned from tomorrow’s dream to today’s reality.
