CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM

The Colours of Ostrava 2025 Festival operates exclusively on a cashless basis. Within the festival grounds, it will not be possible to pay by any means other than electronic methods that support cashless payments. Cash payments will only be permitted at designated points where prepaid cards are issued. Visitors can top up these cards either with cash or using cashless methods.
The primary reason for implementing the cashless system is to speed up the payment process. This reduces waiting times at stalls and minimizes the need to queue, for example, at ATMs. Significant advantages of this system include greater convenience and payment security.

PREPAID CARDS

What is a Prepaid Card?
A prepaid card is an alternative way to make cashless payments within the festival grounds. You can purchase it on-site for CZK 100. Its validity is limited to the duration of the festival and it cannot be used outside of it.
It can be topped up with cash, card, mobile, or other electronic methods. The card can be used at all terminals supporting the festival system, with the exception of specific terminals with individual settings.
Cards are anonymous, and no personal data is associated with them.

How to Buy, Manage, and Check Your Balance

A prepaid card can be topped up to a maximum of EUR 150 (approx. CZK 3600) in accordance with Act No. 253/2008 Coll. Upon purchase, you will receive a receipt with payment information.
The card balance can be checked using the receipt from your last transaction – it will always be displayed at the end of each receipt.

Returning Unused Balance

The balance from the card can be withdrawn in cash directly at the point where the card was purchased.
Alternatively, you can request a cashless refund via the form on the website www.colours.cz/prepadikarty from July 20 to September 30, 2025. The request will be processed within 60 days of its receipt.

Minimum Refund Amounts

For Czech accounts: The minimum refundable amount is CZK 50.
For foreign accounts: The amount will be reduced by a bank fee of CZK 250. Therefore, refunds are only possible for balances greater than CZK 250. For example, if the card has CZK 350, CZK 100 will be refunded.
