WASTE RECYCLING
Our festival grounds are regularly cleaned, but we still kindly ask you to help us out by sorting your waste. Please use the designated bins for paper, plastic, glass, and cans. Thanks to your efforts, Colours of Ostrava has proudly held the Clean Festival title since 2009.

FOOD WASTE
Since last year, we’ve been collecting food waste at the festival, helping to turn it into biogas or organic fertiliser. It’s easy to join in: simply drop off your food scraps at the marked tent in the main food zone, or use the special food waste bins placed throughout the refreshment areas.
SHARED TRANSPORT
Looking for a greener way to get to the festival? Walk, hop on public transport, or cycle your way there! To get around Ostrava – or travel between the campsite and the festival – you can use Nextbike shared bikes. You’ll find two convenient stations nearby: one at Hlubina and another by the new footbridge over the Ostravice River.
