One-day tickets will not be available this year. We’ve just launched discounted two-day tickets for the special price of 2,990 CZK in a limited quantity. Once the first wave sells out, the price will gradually increase, so we recommend not waiting too long.
FAQ
Tickets
We recommend purchasing your Colours of Ostrava tickets online in advance – it’s the easiest and most convenient option. During the festival, a ticket office will also operate at the main entrance to the Dolní Vítkovice area, where you can buy regular tickets as well as tickets for visitors with ZTP and ZTP/P cards
Only buy tickets through the official Colours of Ostrava website. We do not recommend purchasing from online marketplaces or resale platforms – this way, you can avoid issues with ticket authenticity and disappointment at the festival entrance.
In December, you can also purchase printed four-day tickets at OC Forum Nová Karolina in Ostrava, where our team will be available at a stand in front of the Luxor bookstore on selected Wednesdays. Our hostesses will issue your ticket on the spot and add a small gift as well.
Yes! That’s a great idea. 👌
Currently, you can use benefit points from the Edenred and Up Benefity programs.
How to Use Your Benefit Points
- Add your ticket to the cart
- Proceed to checkout
- Select “Card Payment”
- Enter your benefit card details
We are also working on launching Benefit Plus and Pluxee soon—follow us for the latest updates.
Visitors to Colours of Ostrava 2026 with a valid festival ticket will be able to reserve a theatre. Reservations will be launched at the turn of May and June 2026.
To enter the Colours of Ostrava venue, you must exchange your ticket for an identification wristband, which you will need to show each time you enter the festival grounds.
Do not remove your wristband under any circumstances until the end of the festival. If you leave the venue and plan to return the same day, you must check out at the gate by tapping the chip on your wristband against the reader—just like you did when entering the venue.
If you are unable to present a valid wristband, you will not be allowed entry into the festival grounds.
All visitors are required to comply with the Terms and Conditions of Festival Attendance.
We are currently preparing up-to-date information on where and how you will be able to exchange your tickets for wristbands before the festival.
Yes, just like every year, all visitors aged 65 and over have free admission to the festival on Saturday. All they need to do is present a valid ID at the entrance.

Absolutely yes. As part of the Colours Without Barriers project, we make it easier for visitors with reduced mobility to enjoy the festival without worries, allowing them to fully experience the music and other programs in the barrier-free area of Dolní Vítkovice.
For several years now, our standard services have included a discounted ticket price for holders of ZTP and ZTP/P disability cards, free admission for an accompanying person with a ZTP/P card, special viewing platforms, a Colours Without Barriers Chill-out Zone, barrier-free transportation within the city of Ostrava, and the option to book a trained assistant.
Of course. Entertainment for our young visitors will be provided by the ČEZ Family Park, which was created with the support of Nadace ČEZ. Children can look forward to a packed schedule of music and theater performances, as well as sports and creative workshops.
Parents of infants will find full support at the Nursing Tent. Throughout the entire festival, it will offer a peaceful space for relaxation and care for the little ones. Microwaves, kettles, and—last but not least—hygiene essentials provided by Procter & Gamble will be available.
Families can also take advantage of childcare services provided by trained professionals full of energy. This service is available from the festival gates opening until 8 PM. Childcare is subject to a fee of 100 CZK per hour.
Additionally, children under 140 cm in height get free entry to the festival.
No, they are not. Although we’re big fans of pets, we kindly ask you to leave your four-legged friends at home. Dogs are not allowed in the festival area. The only exception is for assistance dogs for people with physical disabilities.
Besides a good mood, don’t forget to bring, for example:
- ID card or passport
- Health insurance card
- Personal medications and hygiene essentials
- Sturdy shoes (the venue is large, and you’ll do a lot of walking)
- Your ticket
- Sun protection – a hat, sunscreen
- Clothing suitable for both hot days and cool nights
- A raincoat (leave umbrellas at home – they are not allowed inside the venue)
- Sleeping bag, tent, and sleeping mat if you’re staying at the campsite
- Phone charger
We recommend leaving valuables like jewelry, laptops, cameras, or expensive mobile phones at home.
This year’s Colours of Ostrava will once again be completely cashless. Payments throughout the festival grounds can be made using standard payment cards such as VISA or Mastercard, as well as via phones or smartwatches. We will not be accepting cash at all – not even at food stalls. Several previous editions have confirmed that card payments are the fastest and most convenient option, even at a music festival.
For those of you who don’t own a payment card or happen to forget yours at home, we’ve arranged the option to purchase a prepaid card. These cards will be valid only during the festival and exclusively within the festival grounds.
Have you lost something during the festival? All found items are collected at the info point in front of the main gate. If you have lost or found something, stop by, and we’ll be happy to assist you. After the festival, all lost and found items will be handed over to the Vítkovice District Office. The transfer will take place one week after the festival gates close.
To prevent losing your personal belongings, you can use the 24/7 storage service located at the main entrance to the Dolní Vítkovice area.
For easier navigation around the festival grounds, we recommend downloading the Colours of Ostrava app, which includes an interactive map. If you prefer a physical version, we will add it here for download and printing soon — it will appear on this page as soon as it’s ready.
We usually open recruitment in February, when volunteer registrations also begin. Our collaborations with seasonal staff are already in place, but if any additional positions become available, we will let you know.
Applications for stall sales for this year’s event are already closed. Thank you for your interest! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. stanky@colours.cz
Due to the requirements of the main headliners, the use of cameras and video equipment during the festival is subject to strict regulations.
Photo
At the festival, photography with professional cameras is only permitted for accredited photographers who are working for selected media outlets (marked as PHOTO and VIP PHOTO). Visitors are only allowed to bring non-professional automatic cameras—compact cameras that cannot be used with an external flash. The main distinguishing feature is the lens size: compact camera vs. DSLR with a large protruding or detachable lens. During headliner performances, photography is strictly prohibited. This measure is in place due to contractual agreements and restrictions set by some performers, particularly the headliners.
Video
Recording video or using any other format is strictly prohibited. The only exception is for pre-accredited film crews. Anyone who violates these rules may disrupt the performance of certain artists.
Accommodation
Good news: all festival accommodation options are now on sale. You can choose between the basic campsite, the Chill Village glamping area, or settle straight into our comfortable Tent Inn.
If you prefer accommodation in a guesthouse or hotel, we recommend contacting these establishments directly. To make your choice easier, we’ve put together a list of the nearest ones.
Basic campsite offers the most affordable accommodation for those bringing their own tent. The Tent Inn Camp ensures hassle-free comfort with pre-pitched tents. The Chill Village Camp provides a glamping experience with plenty of space for a peaceful sleep and relaxation.
In each of our festival campsites, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable and hassle-free camping experience.
Available services include a 24/7 reception, mobile showers and toilets, luggage storage, and food stalls. Additionally, you can use a designated area with refrigerators and microwaves, a small grocery store, and a coffee stand.

However, you are allowed to bring your food and drinks into the camping area.

We want to ensure the most enjoyable festival experience for all visitors. To achieve this, everyone must follow the safety rules for their own benefit and the benefit of all other festival attendees.
Umbrellas are not allowed inside the festival area; only raincoats are permitted. This is for the comfort of all spectators.
Bringing your own drinks into the festival area is not allowed. Free drinking water is available on-site. Visitors may bring their own PET bottle (maximum capacity of 0.5 L). Bringing personal beverages and food is allowed in the camping area.
Oversized backpacks, luggage, bicycles, scooters, and other means of transportation are prohibited in the festival area.
Bringing any alcoholic beverages, glass containers including bottles, cans, flammable substances (such as sprays, corrosives, explosives, dyes, or flammable liquids like perfumes over 200 ml), and any kind of weapons including scissors and impact weapons into the festival area is strictly prohibited.
Bringing psychotropic substances, items that pose a safety risk, pyrotechnic items such as fireworks, firecrackers, flares, smoke bombs, or ignition devices, open flames, laser pointers, tape recorders, professional cameras, film cameras, and video cameras into the festival area is strictly prohibited.
Bringing or leading animals into the festival area is prohibited, with the exception of assistance dogs for physically disabled individuals.
Without prior agreement with the organizer, it is forbidden to distribute or place any promotional or advertising materials in the festival area or its immediate vicinity, including racist, offensive, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate materials, as well as materials promoting a political party or movement or any politically oriented content. Additionally, materials promoting individuals who are not official partners of the organizer are not allowed.
Transport & Parking
The shuttle service offers a comfortable ride between the campsite near Slezskoostravský Castle and the main festival area, running in both directions. Shuttles operate every 30 minutes, with the stop located approximately 200 metres from the main festival entrance along an accessible, step-free route.
This service is available to all campsite visitors and is designed to make the journey more pleasant—especially for those with reduced mobility.
All roads lead to Colours! It’s up to you which mode of transport you choose. You can travel by:
- Colours Expres: by special Czech Railways trains from Prague on July 1řth and back from Ostrava on July 19th – you can buy tickets HERE.
- Bus: The best option is to arrive at the Central Bus Station, which is about 500 meters from the festival area
- Heimstaden Shuttle: Heimstaden offers convenient transport from the festival to Ostrava-Poruba, Karviná, Orlová, Havířov, and Frýdek-Místek. The online presale will be launched in May
- Car: Please do not drive directly to the festival area, as there is no parking available. Our official festival parking lot on Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad is sold out. You can use the parking garage in the Forum Nová Karolina shopping centre. From there it is about 15 minutes walk to the festival gate.
- By bike: To get from the campsite to the festival or to move around Ostrava, you can use nextbike. There are two nextbike stations near the festival area—one at Hlubina and another near the new bridge over the Ostravice River
- By taxi: Official taxis with guaranteed prices will be available at the main entrance next to the parking area at Hlubina and on Ruská Street near the VIP exit. The taxis will be clearly marked. To book a ride, call +420 704 794 544
- By plane: The nearest airport in the Czech Republic is Letiště Leoše Janáčka Ostrava. In Poland, you can fly to Katowice Airport (115 km from Ostrava) or Krakow Airport (155 km from Ostrava)
- On foot: From the Forum Nová Karolina shopping center or the Ostrava-střed train station, it takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the festival’s main entrance
The festival site in Dolní Vítkovice is close to the city center, so we recommend using public transport, the connections of which will be strengthened during the festival, or shared bikes from nextbike.
Dopravní podnik Ostrava offers a discounted festival ticket.
Heimstaden will once again operate buses as part of the “Vezeme vás domů / We’ll Take You Home” project. The buses will comfortably take you from the festival to Ostrava-Poruba, Karviná, Orlová, Havířov and Frýdek-Místek. The proceeds support the “S námi domů / Home With Us” initiative, which helps young people leaving children’s homes, halfway houses or foster care. Updated information about ticket prices will be added soon. Tickets will be available for purchase online as well as at the stand located by the festival’s main gate.
On a nextbike shared bike you will be in the center of Ostrava or at the campsite in just a few minutes. If you are not yet using the nextbike application, you can get a voucher worth 100 CZK for registration. You can use the credit for paid rides or to purchase a subscription.
Unfortunately, parking at the festival site is not possible. We therefore recommend leaving your car at home and either walking from the city center or using public transport or nextbike shared bikes. The venue in Dolní Vítkovice is easily accessible, and tram and bus services will be reinforced during the festival.
Negotiations regarding the rental of the festival parking area are currently underway. We will share more detailed information at the turn of January and February.
