Mgr. Zuzana Býmová combines clinical practice, teaching, and nursing education throughout her professional career. She began as a registered nurse in the paediatric ward of a hospital in Opava before becoming a teacher at a secondary medical school. She currently works as an academic staff member at the Institute of Non-Medical Health Studies within the Faculty of Public Policies at Silesian University in Opava, where she is involved in the education of future registered nurses.
Her work focuses primarily on teaching nursing procedures, ethics, and the development of students’ professional competencies. Her professional interests include paediatric and general nursing, prevention, patient education, and health promotion. She places strong emphasis on connecting theory with practice, a patient-centred approach, and the clear communication of healthcare topics.
