Prof. RNDr. Zdeněk Stuchlík, CSc., specialises in the study of physical processes in the vicinity of black holes, wormholes, superspinars, neutron stars, and other compact astrophysical objects. He also investigates the influence of dark energy and dark matter on the evolution of the Universe and the formation of galactic structures. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards from the Czech Astronomical Society, including the Kopal Lecture Award (2016) and the Nušl Prize (2019).
