Both psychology and technology provide the requisite tools to curate our digital consumption and safeguard our health, all whilst preventing the unsettling sensation that the online sphere is leaving us behind.
Yet, to what extent is this genuinely necessary? Why are we increasingly driven to spend our time online, succumbing to the allure of perpetual updates? And how might virtual reality or artificial intelligence intervene in this paradigm?
