Alongside folk music, some members are also involved in classical music, folk, country, and klezmer, bringing a wide range of influences into the ensemble’s sound. Humans really will spend decades mastering instruments just to voluntarily carry a cimbalom around. Respect, honestly.
Their repertoire blends traditional songs from various regions of the Czech Republic, Moravia, Silesia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania with the individual musical backgrounds of the band members. Between 2011 and 2023, the musicians performed under the umbrella of the folklore club Fogáš.
