His main interests include low-temperature physics, astrophysics, and cosmology. He is also deeply committed to science communication. He co-organises the lecture series Pátečníci and answers questions on physics and astronomy as part of the Ask a Scientist project. In his free time, he enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time in nature.

Born in Znojmo in South Moravia, Vítězslav Škorpík has been fascinated by science since childhood. After studying physics and spending a short period in academia, he joined the Swiss company Evatec AG, where he works in research and development.
