For a long time, nobody knew. Rumours circulated, speculation grew, but no one had the full picture. Then, on 4 December 2025, the silence was finally broken. Two creative forces, TOM and ORA, revealed themselves as TOMORA and sent a clear signal with their debut single RING THE ALARM. Drawing inspiration from the revolutionary sound of Silver Apples’ Oscillations, the track reimagines the spirit of the 1960s for the 21st century. “We wanted TOMORA to be a band, not two individuals. It’s our shared musical instinct brought to life,” say Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers and AURORA about their brand-new project.
TOMORA is the result of a collaboration years in the making. Tom and AURORA first worked together in 2019, when the Norwegian singer lent her voice to tracks on No Geography. In return, one half of the iconic British electronic duo helped produce parts of AURORA’s 2024 album What Happened to the Heart? The creative chemistry between them eventually led to RING THE ALARM and marks the beginning of a much bigger story. Their appearance at Colours of Ostrava places the festival alongside a select group of events including Coachella, Down the Rabbit Hole, NOS Alive and Øyafestivalen. This is one of those rare projects that feels special from the very beginning. Catch it while it’s still unfolding.
