Since 2016, he has been leading Česká spořitelna, one of the largest banks in the country. He brings extensive experience from the financial sector in both the Czech Republic and abroad, including managing large institutions in a rapidly changing environment.
He is a co-founder of the Second Economic Transformation initiative, which opens up the debate on where the Czech economy should be heading. He also brings experience from his role in the National Economic Council of the Government (NERV) and from leading the Czech Banking Association.
In his approach, he emphasizes that the role of business goes beyond its own performance. It also lies in contributing to people’s financial health and to the overall functioning of society.
