RNDr. Tomáš Gráf, Ph.D. studied physics at Masaryk University in Brno, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics. From 1988 to 2015, he worked at the Ostrava Planetarium (VSB – Technical University of Ostrava), including 22 years as its director. Since 2015, he has been affiliated with Silesian University in Opava, where he teaches, serves as Vice-Dean for Strategy and Development, and oversees the WHOO! Observatory and the Unisphere digital dome projection system. He has long been actively involved in the Czech Astronomical Society and has made a significant contribution to its activities.
