She graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University and has taught at both secondary schools and universities. She has long been dedicated to the popularisation of mathematics, leads workshops for students, and gives lectures for the general public. She regularly appears on Czech Television, including the programme Věda 24, and has contributed to educational programmes such as Kája a Mat+Ema+Tika and Škola doma.

She is a recreational mathematician and the academic coordinator and manager of Didaktikon, an educational centre focused on informal learning for primary and secondary school students.
