Born in Bolivia and now based in Brussels, Susobrino creates a sonic world where traditional Latin American rhythms naturally meet contemporary electronics. Blending cumbia, folk and club music with ambient textures, he seamlessly combines acoustic instruments and digital production. His latest album, released in four parts throughout 2024, was created in collaboration with artists across several continents and serves as a personal reflection on identity, roots and the search for a shared language between cultures.
Susobrino works with field recordings, glitch aesthetics and organic grooves to create a sound that feels both experimental and deeply familiar. Armed with a small travelling arsenal of instruments, percussion and beats, he builds immersive live performances designed to keep audiences dancing long after the final note.
