Or perhaps you imagine yourself in a dark, misty environment illuminated by neon lights, thinking to yourself, “This is amazing.” That’s because this sound might not have reached you before, but you’re riding the Wave from the start. A genre that Skeler helped shape and define with tracks like Tel Aviv, pushing it toward the hardwave direction.
Skeler is a music producer and DJ from Perth, Australia. He started making his own music right after high school, drawing influences from dubstep and trap. In his hometown, heavier dance music is hugely popular, and he quickly became captivated by it. However, he still enjoyed listening to calmer styles at home and decided to merge the two. Unknowingly, he became part of the Wave scene, which is being pushed forward by artists like Enjoii, Pholo, Loneliness, and Nevaeh. But Skeler’s take leaned more toward a club sound and feel. His impact was already felt in Prague’s club scene, and now it’s time to bring his unique style to the Festival Wave.
