Throughout his career, he has connected experience from public administration, business, and the international environment. This gives him a broader perspective on how the Czech economy operates within a European and global context, allowing him to bridge the viewpoints of companies, policymakers, and public debate.
He served as Deputy Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy, gained experience in the management of Škoda Auto, and led the Central European office of the Aspen Institute. Today, as Vice President of the Confederation of Industry, he represents business interests and contributes to discussions on the future direction of the Czech economy.
He focuses on competitiveness, innovation, and how the Czech Republic compares globally. He points out where the country’s strengths lie – and where change is needed.
