Pavla Hubálková is a science journalist and host of the Czech Radio Dvojka show Žárovky. Originally planning a career in neuroscience, her Fulbright research stay in the U.S. led her to discover a stronger calling in science communication rather than laboratory work.
She now works as a freelance journalist, contributes to WIRED.cz, writes a popular science newsletter, and actively shares scientific content on social media. She is also the co-author of the first Czech-language book on science communication. In 2023, she received the Czech Government Award for Excellence in Science Communication.
