He is passionate about science communication and spends his free time pursuing astronomy, photography, and fire sport.
He is one of the organisers of the Astronomical Expedition, a summer school of astronomy for secondary school and university students. Since 2021, he has also served as Chair of the Amateur Sky Survey, one of the sections of the Czech Astronomical Society.
