In 2001, he co-founded the Magnesia Litera book awards. Today, he serves as Chairman of Litera, the organisation behind the awards, and since 2016 has also acted as the event’s producer.
He is the author or co-author of several books, including Idiot and His Return, Prague – City of Literature, 2 × 101 Books for Children and Young Adults, which received the Golden Ribbon Award, Prague Noir, and History of Czech Detective Fiction.
