Otec byl divně tichý a zádumčivý aneb tragédie jedné rodiny

16:00 – 17:00 SCÉNA ČT

A shocking tragedy that took place in a small village near Prague in 1968 inspired two very different television adaptations: one as an episode of the propaganda crime series Thirty Cases of Major Zeman, the other as the acclaimed miniseries Studna (The Well).

Media historians PhDr. Petr Bednařík, Ph.D. (Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University) and MgA. Daniel Růžička, Ph.D. (Czech Television) will guide you through these two contrasting interpretations, one shaped by political propaganda, the other by human tragedy and misunderstanding.
