A Japanese project that turns every show into a playground. OCHAN stands behind the microphone and the synths, writing, composing and arranging, while Anabebe drives the music forward from behind the drums, giving it physicality, momentum and club energy. Together they create electronic music that’s danceable, playful and slightly unpredictable – a sound that doesn’t just move in your ears, but instantly in your body.
Niko Niko Tan Tan collaborate with Drug Store Cowboy, who has full control of the visual side and shapes their concerts into a high-energy audiovisual performance. They first caught attention at major Japanese festivals including Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic. Their debut album Shinkigeki (New Comedy), released just two years ago, launched sold-out shows and tours. In 2025, they followed it up with an EP and a series of new tracks, further developing their playful sound. Last year they declared it the “Niko Niko Year” – but we know this energy isn’t fading anytime soon. In the industrial setting of Dolní Vítkovice, they promise a show that will completely take over Ostrava for a moment. It looks like Colours of Ostrava is heading straight into Niko Niko Year 2026.
