My Indigenous Journey

13:30 – 14:30 Vypravěčský stan

As a child, Karolina Draxlerová dreamed of traveling the world. At the age of twenty, she began her journey and explored much of Asia, as well as

North, Central, and South America. Along the way, she encountered traditional cultures and their unique worldviews.

Fate led her to Brazil, where she spent several years living on the coast of São Paulo.

It seemed she might settle there — but her path eventually led deeper into the Amazon.

Today, Karolina lives between the Amazon and Europe, working closely with the Huni Kuin people. Together, they are building a project to support and develop the traditional knowledge and spirituality of the Huni Kuin tribe.

In her storytelling, Karolina invites you into the life of an Indigenous village, sharing stories of cultural encounters, surprises, and differences. Together with her Indigenous friends, she reveals the beauty and depth of the Huni Kuin traditions.
