For her, hitchhiking is not just a way to get from one place to another. It is a way to get closer to people, situations, and to herself. With her thumb by the roadside, she has traveled across much of the world, collecting stories that emerge the moment one lets go of control and allows curiosity, intuition, and trust to lead the way.
She turned her travel experiences into the book Palec v rohlíku – a personal and open travelogue in which she writes about discomfort, awkwardness, and closeness. About moments when the boundaries of safety, freedom, and our own ideas of what “should be” are tested.
She is not interested in how many countries a person has visited. What matters to her is what happens when we stop having a plan, stop playing roles, and allow ourselves to be truly present.
