He first found himself inside an ambulance at the age of eleven during a competition organized by the Czech Red Cross. He took a photo with a defibrillator, and that single moment changed the direction of his life. Instead of becoming a police officer, he decided to save lives. To this day, he still keeps a school essay in which he wrote that one day he wanted to work for the air rescue service in Hradec Králové.
