To some, the barren terrain, to others, a mystical place with its energy, this desert backdrop became the foundation for their Desert Trax label. But none of this would have been possible without Buddhist philosophy, which Amani has been studying and practicing for over three decades.
For some, Liquid Bloom’s music offers a chance to unwind, while for others, it can open up a whole new path. Since the late ’90s, Amani has been blending genres and philosophies in this project. His organic trance music draws from Tibetan Buddhism as much as it does from electronic beats. At times, the sound is ambient; at others, it’ll sweep you into an uncontrollable dance. Along the way, Liquid Bloom frequently collaborates with talented musicians like Poranguí, Mose, Tylepathy, and Ixchel Prisma, creating music perfect for everything from breathwork sessions to cacao ceremonies—and of course, ecstatic dance parties. What truly sets Amani’s work apart, though, is his personal touch: a deep altruism, a quest for understanding, and a resounding “yes” to life. We’re definitely saying YES.
