An Oxford graduate and recipient of the Critics’ Prize for Young Painting, she has established herself well beyond the Czech art scene through solo exhibitions in New York City, Taipei, Vienna, Prague, and Brussels. Her paintings combine personal experience with a distinctive visual language, exploring themes of identity, power, and the role of women in a globalised world.
Limbourg, whose works have recently gained increasing popularity among a younger generation of Czech business leaders, has systematically developed her international profile through exhibitions, long-term collaborations with curators, and a growing global network. Her career demonstrates that a Czech artist can naturally become a respected figure on the international contemporary art scene.
