His work is closely associated with the sensitive transformation of public spaces, historic buildings, and former industrial sites. He has left a particularly significant mark on Ostrava, especially in Dolní Vítkovice, where he played a key role in transforming a former industrial complex into a vibrant cultural destination that has become inseparably linked with the Colours of Ostrava festival. His best-known projects also include the Deer Moat footpath at Prague Castle and the ČSOB headquarters in Prague’s Radlice district. Through his work, he demonstrates that architecture can give old places a new life without erasing their memory.
