MUDr. Jitka Horáková is also a member of the Perinatal Support Team at the University Hospital Ostrava, where she provides care for women and families facing challenging situations related to pregnancy, childbirth, or the postpartum period.
In her practice, she encounters situations where medical care alone is not enough, such as premature birth, the diagnosis of a serious fetal developmental condition, or complications related to maternal mental health after childbirth. In these moments, she believes that psychosocial support for the entire family is essential.
