His work focuses on the properties of the top quark, the heaviest known subatomic particle, produced in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. He is also passionate about science communication and enjoys working on projects that bring together science and the arts.
Jiří Hejbal
He studied Mathematical Physics at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague and currently works as a researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. In the past, he completed research placements at LPNHE in Paris and CEA in Saclay.
