Since 1994, he has worked as a presenter for Czech Radio Radiožurnál. From March 2005 to January 2008, he served as Editor-in-Chief of Radiožurnál. In 2010, he spent a year in France as a foreign correspondent for Czech Radio. In 2012, he returned as Editor-in-Chief, and from 2016 to 2021 he served as Director of News and Current Affairs at Czech Radio. He currently hosts the programmes Host Radiožurnálu, Život k nezaplacení, and Co se děje se světem.
