Post-punk, no wave, jazz and noise collide in long, dramatic compositions that constantly tilt off balance. Music built on tension and unrest — opening new questions instead of offering easy answers.
The internationally formed, Prague-based band Hothouse came together during the pandemic and has, from the very beginning, focused on a powerful, almost ritualistic live experience. Following their EP Light Was Brighter (2022), recorded at Tropical Cell studio, they released their full-length album Finally, We Are Well, Stable in autumn 2025 via Kabinet Records. The record took three years to complete and has been widely regarded as one of the most striking releases of the second half of last year. Led by Gregory Maliukov and joined by Bianca Krajčovičová, Sergei Petrosian, Nina Salmanli, Martin Hrubý and Filip Miškařík, the band merges punk energy with distinctive songwriting and lyrics that move between alienation, despair and the longing for authenticity.
