PhDr. Gabriela Světnická serves as Chair of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Public Policies at Silesian University in Opava. She is affiliated with the Institute of Non-Medical Health Studies, where she teaches in the field of paediatric nursing. She coordinates the Paediatric Nursing study programme, and her research focuses on prevention and awareness of risks in the care of children and their parents.
