Hailing from the historic streets of Kraków, Poland, Flying Bison is a high-octane international power trio that has been shattering musical boundaries since 2022. Bringing together Polish charisma in vocals and guitar fury, rock-solid Italian bass lines, and explosive Finnish drumming, the band delivers a cross-border sonic assault that leaves no prisoners. They jokingly admit that the only thing capable of dividing them is the eternal debate over Hawaiian pizza—when it comes to their music, they operate as an absolute, crushing unity of sound.
Refusing to be bound by conventional genres, Flying Bison forged their own path by creating “Bison Rock”. It is a devastatingly effective signature style built upon a foundation of heavy stoner rock riffs and the raw, melodic grit of 90s grunge. Their trademark sound juxtaposes massive, unforgettable hooks with a concrete-heavy rhythm section, all driven forward by a charismatic vocal energy that demands full audience interaction.
Flying Bison have spent the last three years systematically building a formidable reputation in the local rock scene. After making waves with their 2023 debut EP “Rock, Paper, Bison”, they pushed the envelope further in 2024 with the release of full-length album, “Hoofprints on Mars”. Known for their explosive live chemistry, the trio has been highly decorated by industry professionals, securing 2nd place at the Rock Battle (Stakkato Art Space) and crowning 2025 as the undisputed winners of the Przystanek Mistrzejowice competition. Recently, they won Polish competition organised by Eska Rock Star where the award was the possibility to play at the Colours of Ostrava.
