Though DIS IS MARKĒTA has yet to release a full album, their growing popularity is undeniable. On stage, the musicians enrich their original compositions with reimagined folk songs, such as Išli hudci horou and Páslo dievča pávy. It’s only a matter of time before their concerts extend beyond Nitra and reach audiences across neighboring countries. The unique voice of Martina Kertészová, along with the meticulous playing of her four bandmates – Martina Janegová (piano), Lukáš Bujdák (guitar), Roman Stražanec (cello), and Matej Borovský (drums)—truly deserves wider recognition.
