“Conversation with the patient, selecting the most suitable treatment for each individual case, and carefully planning every neurosurgical procedure are essential for achieving success.”
He considered neurosurgery the most fascinating field of medicine from an early age. He was inspired by his grandfather, Professor Petr Netuka, who founded the first neurosurgical clinic in Czechoslovakia in Hradec Králové. He has worked at the Department of Neurosurgery and Neurooncology of the First Faculty of Medicine and the Central Military Hospital since 2000 and became Head of the Department in 2020.
Professor David Netuka specializes primarily in cerebrovascular diseases, pituitary tumors, brain and spinal tumors, and skull base surgery. He is the author and co-author of dozens of scientific publications and regularly lectures both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
