He currently lives in Prague with his wife and two children and works as a researcher and lecturer at Charles University. Beyond science, he enjoys drawing. His artistic talent was put to use in the short film A Day with Particles, where his illustrations helped bring the story to life. In what little spare time remains, he can often be found on top of a mountain.
Daniel Scheirich
He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in the United States. During his studies, he spent four years at CERN during the exciting period when the world’s largest particle accelerator, the LHC, was first brought into operation.
