A puppet tale based on old Jewish tales, especially the legend of the Golem.

A puppet tale based on old Jewish tales, especially the legend of the Golem. Our story takes place during the reign of Rudolf II. The most important alchemists and artists of their time gather at Prague Castle. A treacherous advisor tries to line his pockets as much as possible, and so the people below the castle experience hard times. Therefore, Rabbi Löwe calls for help from a hero made of clay – the Golem. However, the Golem’s power is so great that even the emperor himself is captivated by the desire to seize it and use it as a weapon of war. Thanks to the courage of the rabbi’s daughter Esther, however, the story, as is often the case in fairy tales, ends well in the end.

The word golem means incomplete, imperfect in Hebrew. This animated creature is also conceived in the same way in Jewish legends; it had no thoughts or will of its own, it only literally carried out the orders of its master.
For children from 6 years old and their parents.
