Rudolf Danihel, known as Čavalenky, comes from Záhorie, a region on the Slovak-Czech border. Rapping in the local dialect, he draws directly from what he has seen and experienced firsthand. His lyrics confront difficult realities, including drugs, debt, social inequality and the political climate in Slovakia, all set against hard-hitting, uncompromising beats created primarily by producer DJ Hallabeat.
He wrote his first rap lyrics at the age of eight and has since become one of the most authentic and persistent voices on the Slovak rap scene. Čavalenky describes his music as rap for everyone, regardless of religion, race or beliefs. Released after a five-year hiatus, his latest album Zadlužený is widely regarded as one of the strongest Slovak releases of 2025.
