Rudolf Danihel, aka Čavalenky, comes from Záhorie, a region on the Slovak-Czech border. He raps in the local dialect and writes about what he has seen and lived through himself. Drugs, personal and societal debt, social inequality and Slovakia’s political climate are not abstract themes in his lyrics — they are lived reality. The uncompromising tone is matched by hard, forceful beats, primarily produced by DJ Hallabeat.
He wrote his first lyrics at the age of eight and has since grown into one of the most authentic and persistent voices in the Slovak rap scene. Čavalenky describes his music as rap for everyone — regardless of religion, race or opinion. His 2025 album Zadlužený, released after a five-year hiatus, ranks among the strongest Slovak releases of the year.
