Digital images are a key part of everyday life, extending far beyond industrial cameras, mobile phones, or satellite imagery. Barbara Zitová develops methods based on mathematical theories and artificial intelligence that enable computers to analyse and improve the quality of photographs and videos. She also works on applying these techniques in fields such as medicine, security, and art restoration.
