Mgr. Anna Novotná, Ph.D. earned her Ph.D. in Information Science from Charles University in Prague. At the Institute of Computer Science of Silesian University in Opava, she teaches courses focused on social media, media literacy, and information behaviour.
Her research is particularly concerned with the intersection of technology and social issues in the public sphere, as well as the ways in which digital technologies influence individual behaviour. She regularly contributes to academic publications and presents her research and innovative approaches at professional conferences.
She believes that the successful integration of technology into society depends on a strong emphasis on ethics and responsibility. For this reason, she actively promotes media literacy and advocates for the responsible use of technology.
