Alžběta Danielisová

Archaeologist at the Czech Academy of Sciences. She leads a research team whose recent work used geochemical and biochemical methods to prove that desert communities in Oman were hunting sharks as early as the Stone Age.

Her team has also uncovered a unique 7,000-year-old tomb in Oman, remarkably located on the floor of a valley rather than in a more typical burial setting. Through innovative scientific techniques and unconventional research approaches, she seeks to uncover how Stone Age communities lived, adapted and interacted with their environment.
