A CONCERT THAT WAS MEANT TO HAPPEN. 💛 ELLIE GOULDING TO PERFORM AT COLOURS OF OSTRAVA 2027

It’s time to finish a story that began four years ago. This July, Ellie Goulding will bring her global hits, including Love Me Like You Do, Burn and Lights, to Dolní Vítkovice, along with her new album I Know Too Much.

HITS THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS. 🌍

Some songs sneak under your skin so quietly that you only realise it when you find yourself singing along with thousands of other people. Ellie Goulding has more than a few of those. You might know Love Me Like You Do from the film Fifty Shades of Grey. The song became one of her biggest hits and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance. But her catalogue goes far beyond film soundtracks. Lights and Burn have long been staples on dance floors and radio playlists, while her collaboration with Calvin Harris, Miracle, earned them another Grammy nomination. This July, her hits will take on a whole new dimension under the open sky.

FROM DREAMY POP TO DANCEFLOOR HITS 🚀

Since her first singles in 2009, Ellie Goulding has come a long way. Her debut album Lights topped the UK Albums Chart in 2010, the same year she won the Critics’ Choice award at the BRIT Awards. Today, she has six studio albums, two BRIT Awards and billions of streams to her name. Over the past fifteen years, her sound has evolved from dreamy pop and dancefloor anthems to more personal music that gives greater space to her own stories. And she’ll bring that musical diversity to Ostrava, too.

Ellie Goulding will perform on Friday, 23 July.

NEW MUSIC, A NEW CHAPTER 🚀

In September, she released her sixth studio album, I Know Too Much, exploring more personal themes and experimenting with different musical styles. She worked on the album with producer Jack Rochon, whom she discovered on TikTok. Yes, really. 😮

A STORY THAT NEEDS FINISHING 📖

“In 2023, Ellie Goulding fell ill and cancelled her Ostrava performance at the last minute. We were ready to bring the concert to our fans. We spent a long time negotiating with the artist’s representatives and trying to find a new date. And now it’s worked out. We’re all the more excited because she’ll be coming with a new album,” says Filip Košťálek, Artistic Director of Colours of Ostrava.
