DĹŻl Michal in Ostrava is a national cultural monument with a uniquely preserved former black coal mine complex. It offers authentic guided tours of technical facilities, engine rooms and changing rooms preserved in their original state from the end of operations in 1993.
Tours run Tuesday-Sunday at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.
HopJump Ostrava offers four floors of jumping, games, and fun, right in the heart of the DolnĂ VĂtkovice area. It is an ideal destination for families, school groups, and birthday celebrations.

During Colours of Ostrava, MUSEum+ offers special guided tours of Blast Furnaces No. 4 and No. 6, located directly within the festival grounds. Ostrava Zoo is the second largest zoo in the Czech Republic. Within its hundred-hectare natural area, it is home to more than 6,000 animals including elephants, chimpanzees, giraffes, bears and leopards. Located in a beautifully restored historic slaughterhouse in the centre of Ostrava, PLATO helps visitors understand the contemporary world in a broader context. Built between 1922 and 1924, Villa Grossmann was the family residence of Ostrava construction entrepreneur František Grossmann (1876-1933). It was one of the most impressive and largest villas in the Ostrava region during the 1920s. Today, it serves as an open house museum.
