MUDr. Tomáš Kotulák, Ph.D., alongside his clinical work, is building the team of the Institute for Clinical Artificial Intelligence (IKAI) at the hospital, a unit focused on clinical validation, evaluation, scientific research, and the responsible deployment of AI in hospital settings.
As the hospital’s Chief AI Officer, he works on clinical AI governance frameworks and is establishing the Clinical AI Task Force (PSAI VFN). He believes that the path to the responsible use of AI in medicine always runs through proper governance and that its deployment should, above all, lead to better patient care.
